community....)
EAV FM Doubles EBT Dollars with Wholesome Wave Georgia!
The EAV Farmers Market is excited to announce the launch of Wholesome Wave Georgia. Wholesome Wave is a national foundation whose mission is to "encourage and support increased production, availability and access to fresh, healthy and affordable locally grown food for the benefit of all."
EAV FM is the launch participant in the Wholesome Wave Georgia Double Value Coupon Program, through which market shoppers can use their EBT card dollars and WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Vouchers at double their value for market purchases.
The Double Value Coupon Program was featured in a Washington Post article which celebrates the program's benefits to both farmers and underserved consumers.
