Gaia Gardens
Rachel Tali Kaplan grew her first vegetable on the banks of the Hollenbeck River in Falls Village, Connecticut. Today this native Mainer is the Farm Manager at Gaia Gardens, a two-acre urban, organic vegetable, fruit and flower farm that is situated between the neighborhoods of East Atlanta and Decatur. With five seasons of farming under her belt, a decade of informal teaching and three years of non-profit management, Rachel is also collaborating with fellow council members of the Jewish Farm School to develop curriculum and create programming that promote sustainable agriculture and cultivates just food systems rooted in Jewish tradition.
Scharko Farms
The children are out of the house, but its still fun to grow a big garden. So, what does one do with extra veggies? Maybe someone would like to make use of these veggies. Farmers Market - good idea. Farm House Beef
Farm House Beef is owned by Carolyn and Mike Bradley. Their focus is high
quality beef production, specifically grass-fed beef – the way beef used to be!
They focus specifically on building a registered WYE
Angus herd. Their herd sire is from the University of Maryland’s WYE Angus program.
They have a 100 acre modern corral and cattle handling facility where they never use antibiotics or hormones.

Johnston Dairy
Johnston Family Farm is a family owned and operated dairy in Newborn, GA. They work to provide a premium wholesome milk to our consumers. What makes Johnston Family Farm different is that they produce and bottle their milk completely on their farm, so you get the freshest product possible. Their family farm cows are always happy. It may be because they’re always well taken care of or it may be that they have acres of lush green pastures to graze over.
